Been tired from long days and late nights.
Feeling fat from all the big meals and more to come.
Am.
The holiday mood is slowly creeping in.
Though the jolly 'ol Christmas season hasn't really gotten to me yet.
Seems like alot to do but too little time to try.
Candy-stripe cookie sticks. Yummy.

Eating and chilling in the company of good friends.
Surprise and presents and
bluff-me-that-is-homebaked cakes.
Let the pictures speak for themselves.
Thanks to each and every one of you!

Okay.
Those were just me and my birthday cakes.
More pictures when I've compiled all of them.

Then there's fund raising too.
Nothing hit the headlines so much as the "parasols twirling ladies".
Check them out here.

Sweet eh?

And TP's birthday cake.
I love the hearts. Do you?
Is it an overkill?
Haha.

Received a good gift of a book.
Let The Nations Be Glad: The Supremacy Of God In Missions
Makes for good reading and learning.
The zeal that the author writes with is so evident.
Burning and passionate zeal for the glory of Jesus Christ.
A wonderful followup to Window On The World and Operation World.

Excerpt:
Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists beacuse worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever.

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:1-2
